FAQ's

1. Do you take cases from all over the UK?

We accept cases from all over the country. We are members of various professional and trade organisations and networks and can assign your case to associates based anywhere in the UK.

2. Can you take instructions and deal with matters outside the UK?

We can take instructions to operate anywhere in the world. Our contacts and associates span the globe. Each assignment is priced differently. We will be happy to confirm a fixed fee before you instruct us.

3. How long does it take to complete a case?

After an initial consultation where we will obtain as much details and information from the client as possible we will be able to give an approximate time-scale. Some investigations take days, some weeks and some months. It is all dependent upon the proof required and complexity of the case, but our experience allows us to provide information within a realistic time frame.

4. How much does it cost?

Our charges are based on the type of investigation that we have been asked to undertake, It is not always possible to offer a flat fee until we understand your  investigation needs. Please feel free to telephone us FREE on 0800 756 6872. We will be happy to advise you and offer a no obligation quotation. Once this has been agreed, we may require a retainer based on the budget to begin the operation.

5. How much does it cost to trace a person?

Our basic trace fees start at £120 + VAT our enhanced trace costs further still and is priced subject to input time. 

6. How do I pay?

Most fees are paid by Cheque or Postal Order but we can take Credit & Debit Payments via PayPal through our website HERE. Cash payments will be accepted on arrangement only and a receipt will always be issued for your records.

7. What about confidentiality?

Confidentiality is imperative in our work. Once you have instructed us, we will only report to you or any one else you specify, such as your solicitor or representative. Due to the nature of our business we are required by law to register with the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act. Any information you give us is handled in accordance with the requirements and principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. 8. Who are your usual clients?

We do not divulge our list of clients for reasons of confidentiality. However our instructions come from legal and insurance companies as well as corporate organisations, government departments and private individuals.

9. In what format will I receive my report?

Your report will take the format of your choice. We can post, e-mail, facsimile. Documents or proofs that are obtained as part of an investigation case file can also be sent via the same methods. Stills photographs can be scanned and sent as e-mail or a regular mail. If required and video footage can be sent in VHS, DVD or CD formats.
